Cynthia Toops and her husband, glass artist Dan Adams, have launched a new site with loads of mouthwatering work, old and new.

While Cynthia is known for her figurative polymer micromosaic pieces, in the last few years she has been concentrating on thin sheet work, creating the cone and claw necklaces and the rolodex series. Cynthia will teach at Arrowmont in September. This comes to us via the DailyArtMuse site.

Cynthis Toops, you are amazing. I see you have tons of patients. I love your work. You have so much work involved in some of your pieces, I know you must not be getting the prices of their true value. Dyan

Cynthia Toops work is the best! There I said it out loud. There is something so elegant and sophisticated in her palette (that yellow bobbin necklace) The very modern take on traditional jewelry forms (Beetlerama) and the narrative quality of the mosaic pieces (Yet Another Road Trip) I just love the texture of the rolodex series – and what a great idea that is. And the control over her design (Green Eyes) and OMG (Sleepless in Seattle)
Well I’m sold. It’s all beee oou tee ful!
