More about Cynthia

I’m a connoisseur and collector of polymer art. My collection brings me great satisfaction and puts me in touch with wonderful people.

I have worked in polymer clay since the late 1980’s. In the early ‘90s, Hollie Mion and I co-edited the newsletter for the National Polymer Clay Guild for several years. The guild was young, the medium was in its infancy, excitement and energy were high. We made great friends and had good times.

Now I’ve retired from my day job as a creative manager and webmaster. For the first time I can spend hours in my studio.

I take a highly curated approach to showcasing the best polymer art online. You won’t find much about new products or special equipment here. Lindly Haunani reminds us that the most tricked out kitchen doesn’t make its owner a good cook. I try to be mindful of that.

My book, Polymer Clay Global Perspectives, was published last year by Random House and is available on Amazon.
