As a guest blogger, I would like to direct your attention to an issue that affects the polymer community and to offer you the opportunity to have your opinion heard.
The manufacturers are grappling with many issues that center around reformulating polymer and bringing the best product to market. Your response to this comprehensive survey allows you to rank which issues are most important to you. With an accurate picture of our needs manufacturers may make products that suit us better.
Grab your favorite beverage and expect to invest 10 to 15 minutes of your time to answer 40 questions. The responses will be tallied and sent as one document to all the polymer manufacturers. Here’s the survey.
As a thank you for your efforts, you will have a chance to win an autographed copy of Terra Nova – Polymer Art at the Crossroads, released in conjunction with the opening of the Racine Art Museum’s exhibition. This special book has been signed by all the boundary-breakers! To enter the drawing, fill out the survey and comment on this post “I took the survey.” Then check next Monday to see if you won.
Editor’s Note: Congratulations to Carol Dotin, winner of this giveaway. Thanks to all who participated.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a well thought out survey and asking us to participate. I hope that it does some good getting us “end users” listened to. BTW, I took the survery.

I took the survey. Though I’m relatively new to the medium, I’ve been following the stories about changes in formulas, loss of favorite colors, etc. and appreciate the usefulness of getting the opinion of artisans who use the stuff for most or all of their work. Thanks!
Pat Thielman ,

I took the survey and I hope others do as well, to get our voices heard. The new packages I have purchased recently are very different in color and texture and I am concerned about how the items I am making will hold up when they are baked.

I took the survey! It took awhile, but I did it!
I took the survey. Was into polymer for over 20 years (10 years full time) however, I am not up to date as I have scarcely used polymer in the past 5 years.

Kathleen Anderson ,
I took the survey. It would have been great to have more options for the use of translucent clay questions. Those supplied did not help me to explicitly convey to the survey my use of translucent.
Thanks for creating this survey and allowing us to document our use of polymer clay!
Lindly Haunani ,
Kathleen: What options would you have included in the translucent portion of this survey? Please post your comment on my blog = http://www.lindlyhaunani.com/blog/ rather than here on Polymer Clay Daily.
