Jumping through hoops

Jane Pellicciotto's oval hoops connect on PolymerClayDaily.com

These contemporary, lightweight Arcata oval hoops are from Portland’s Jane Pelicciotto, a graphic designer who wanted to express her aesthetic in another way. “it’s about a connection to someone you might not ever meet,” she explains.

A browse through her Instagram and website is like a breath of fresh air and a look at the direction that lies ahead for 2021.

    Hi Cynthia,
Do most polymer clay artists make their own findings for earrings cuz I sure don’t see anything like any of Pelliciotto’s findings in any catalog? thanks

    Kate

Thank you so much Cynthia! I never saw this post. I don’t know if Kate will see this but I just read her comment. I make my own findings Kate. It’s really easy and gives you the flexibility of making exactly what you need for that project. For those big hoops, I just bend 18 g wire over something round. Anything will do. Lots of tutorials out there about making ear wires. Give it a go.
