Susan Crocenzi mixes glass and polymer in large lively mosaics on PolymerClayDaily.com

Weary of earrings? Done with slabs? Nothing better than a scroll through Susan Crocenzi’s mosaics for a breath of fresh air.

Look closely, she combines glass and polymer in ways that make it hard to tell what’s what in the riot of color. And her pieces are big and bold. They will lift your mood if you’re feeling timid and uncertain.

Feeling lazy and unproductive? Good! And when you’re looking at the clouds and swaying the hammock, you’ll be surprised at the ideas that pop up.

Join us over at StudioMojo for a Saturday morning dose of surprise and delight.

Susan’s work is fabulous and she is so successful in combining polymer clay with traditional mosaic tesserae. Have loved seeing her work evolve over the years.
    Thanks for spotlighting her creativity.

It’s funny how things all click at the same time. I just finally dug into the black hole in the corner of my garage that has all my Stainglass sheets and mosaic pieces. I used to do a quite a bit of work with those. I’ve been working with them this summer. The marrying of my two favorite media Shown in Susan’s work is Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing this today. If you go through her site there’s much more polymer sprinkled through other pieces of her work.
