Don’t miss the new pix of Kim Cavender’s work (at the bottom of that page) that accompany the descriptions of classes she’ll be teaching in Salem, NH in March.

Her torso pendants, bangles, and sticks and stones look intriguing if you’re in the mood to learn new techniques. Kim’s caning is some of the most refined you’ll find.

Christi Friesen teaches at the same gallery in March. Check the class listings.

I had the opportunity to take Kim’s ‘rock’ class and it was great! It’s a ‘no pressure’ class that allows for so much creativity and the results are beautiful…..it doesn’t hurt that I’m partial to rocks 😉 (as is Kim). She is a wonderful instructor and I highly recommend her class…

I have to agree with Jana…Kim’s class at the LV Clay Carnival was great. She is a wonderful lady with tons of talent. I feel special knowing her even a little bit! Her technique for making rocks is so inspiring, too. You can just relax and go to it!!
