Rings & Things Winners

Lynne Ann Schwarzenberg swept the table at the Rings & Things contest with her polymer clay “Three Tiger Lilies” necklace winning first place in the polymer clay category as well as the $1000 grand prize. Congrats to Lynne Ann!

It was heartening to see so many good entrants in this year’s contest including (some, I see now, are from prior years…thanks Kim):

Ann Inman’s Cedric and Bubba, Lynne Ann Schwarzenberg’s Good Things Come In Threes, Eugena Topina’s Wild Fire, Deborah Anderson’s Reversible Tile Bracelet, Sandra Cowan and Lori Bouchard’s Roses of One Garden, Ginnie Parrish’s Happy New Year Vessel, Judy Dunn’s Fall Floral Splash, Cheryl Moore’s Nile River Goddess, Christina Cassidy’s Trot On (pictured here), Judy Dunn’s Underwater Starfish Box. Thanks to Tommie Howell for the link.

Congrats to all the winners! It’s interesting to see the work submitted to the contest over the last few years.

Wow they are all winners in my eyes! I think my favourite though has to be the Underwater Starfish Box. Congratulations.

Beautiful polymer clay work and a great representation. Lynne Ann’s piece is stunning and deserving of the grand prize…

Hey Cynthia, it looks like a lot of those photos were entries from past years. I still liked seeing them though! I think I saw 2 entries from Lynne, 1 from Eugena, and 1 from Ann for 2008. Only 4 entries from the whole PC community?! Next year, I say we bombard them with PC. That’s really a great prize that Rings and Things is offering! Congratulations to all the winners!

            Hi Cynthia,
This year’s winners are beautiful. My pieces were from several years back as Kim noticed. It is a great contest, and a wonderful way for people to get their work noticed.

Congrats to Lynne Ann , Eugenia and the other winners! Beautiful necklaces…can’t wait to see Lynne Ann in Sept. at the Fall Foliage Clay Fest. She’s heading to ABQ for some fun with our SW friends…enjoy all! You’re in for a treat!

Oh, Kim, there were many more entries, trust me. They just do not publish all of them, only the winners. Too bad there are no 2-nd and 3-d places in this contest.

I’ve seen Lynne’s necklace in person and it is truly spectacular. Like everything she does it is impeccable in every detail. It’s one of the loveliest pieces of polymer clay jewelry I have ever seen. Congratulations on a well deserved win Lynne!
