It’s warm in Australia and Sabine Spiesser needed some summer color for her brooches. Her display in the Waverly Arts Society netted Sabine the Best In Show award. Well deserved, wouldn’t you agree?

You can see a couple of the samples Sabine created for Helen Breil’s new book on her Flickr site.

Keep those juices flowing

Jodi Creager is wishing that all her friends receive a big bottle of this precious elixir this season. As Jodi says, “Merry Whatever!”

These brooches are absolutely stunning–love the mehendi feel to the pattern. And what a hoot! Great idea on the creative juices. My daughter presented me with a ‘good things’ jar this morning–a mason jar with a pen and dozens of small sheets of paper, to record every good thing that happens this year–looking forward to reading them all next Christmas. Have a cool yule, ya’ll!

What a great surprise to wake up to on Boxing day – PCD is always part my morning coffee ritual. Thank you so much for making my day Cynthia.
I would just like to give credit to Alice Stroppel for the wonderful Stroppel cane background for my new leaf brooches. The remnants came from a Sarah Shriver cane DVD workshop.
The creative juices bottle should be on everyone’s bedside table!
